Life-Biodelear participated in the information conference organized by the Green Fund and the Greek LIFE Task Force for LIFE and the Rural Sector, which took place in Athens at the TITANIA Hotel on June1, 2018.
The aim of the event was to present the 5 financing programs including the rural development sector as well as presentation of the results of 22 mature recently completed and current LIFE projects related to the agricultural sector.

In the second part of the workshop on the presentation of the results of LIFE projects and the opportunities for their exploitation, the professor of entomology at the University of Thessaly - Nikolaos Papadopoulos - presented the results that have been obtained so far for Life - Biodelear project, emphasizing in that the key to the multidimensional and complex problem of dealing with the Mediterranean fly is the continuous monitoring of insect populations (spatiotemporal)."The results are particularly encouraging both for the biological control of the Mediterranean fly through the use of attractive BIodelear and for the preservation of biodiversity," as the professor said. In his presentation, it was clear that through the Life - Biodelear project, “insect control is based on developing a detailed strategy that includes additional measures to maintain low insect populations”.
The response of the audience was very warm and during the discussion there were a number of questions in order to get more detailed information about the action of the attractive BIodelear.
