On Friday the 9 of June 2017 the third visit of the External Monitoring Team of the European Commission for the progress of LIFE-Biodelear was organized. The day started with a visit at the Laboratory of Pesticide Residues in BPI, and in the laboratories of Soil Science Institute of Athens in Hellenic Agricultural Organization DEMETER.

Biodelear traps preparation for the implementation of Mass trapping at large scale (12 ha) has been completed.

Life-Biodelear in the “Third FAO/IAEA International Conference on Area-Wide Management of Insect Pests: Integrating the Sterile Insect and Related Nuclear and Other Techniques”

Life-Biodelear project participated in the “Third FAO/IAEA International Conference on Area-Wide Management of Insect Pests: Integrating the Sterile Insect and Related Nuclear and Other Techniques”, which was carried out on 22-26 May 2017 in Vienna, Austria. The title of the presentation was «An environmental friendly new attractant (BIODELEAR) for the mass trapping of Ceratitis capitata».
